The mid-term inspection and review of the project "Research on deep-sea high-precision thermosalt-deep integrated fiber vector Underwater acoustic Sensor and array Technology" was successfully held

On November 30, 2024, the mid-term inspection review meeting of the national key research and development plan "Intelligent Sensor" key special project "Deep Sea high precision temperature salt depth Integrated fiber vector Underwater acoustic Sensor and Array Technology Research" led by Beijing SIO  was successfully held in Changsha.

The experts participating in the project are: Wang Junbo, Research Institute of Aerospace Information Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Professor Yu Zhinong, Beijing Institute of Technology; Professor Lu Ping, Huazhong University of Science and Technology; Sun Guocang, Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation; and Gai Zhigang, Research Institute of Marine Instrumentation, Shandong Academy of Sciences. There were nearly 20 people who participated in the meeting, including project leader Li Fang, Researcher of the Institute of Semiconductor Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dr. Xiao Hao, general manager of Beijing SIO , chief engineer Liu Dongwei, project leaders and core members of the research group.

The person in charge of each project successively reported the completion of the research of each project at the mid-term assessment node, the stage research results, the main innovation points, the implementation of funds and the follow-up research plan. Next, the expert group raised questions on the research work by referring to the project task book and test report, and put forward targeted opinions and suggestions based on the replies of each project.

After several hours of rigorous review, the expert group fully affirmed the achievements of each subject, and believed that the research work of each subject of the project was progressing smoothly, reaching the expected goals of the mid-term assessment, and also put forward detailed and improved requirements for the follow-up research plan. The project team said that it will take the review meeting as an opportunity to fully absorb expert suggestions and deploy resources to sprint to ensure the final high-quality conclusion of the project, and provide strong technical support for China's Marine scientific research, Marine environment observation and deep-sea target detection.
