On May 12, 2023, the launch and implementation plan demonstration meeting of the project "Research on Deep-sea High-precision Temperature-salinity Deep-integrated Fiber Vector Sonar Sensor and Array System", a key project of the National Key R&D Program "Intelligent Sensor" led by Beijing SIO Technology Co., Ltd, was successfully held in Beijing.
The meeting invited Zhang Lei and Zhang Panpan, project supervisors of the Advanced Manufacturing Department of the High Technology Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Zhang Wei, the project recommendation unit of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission's New Materials and Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Department, and Xia Jin, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission's New Materials and New Energy Technology Development Center, to participate online. The expert review team for the project implementation plan consists of seven experts, including Cheng Jiangong, a researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhang Wenxi, a researcher at the Institute of Aerospace Information Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chen Genxiang, a professor at the Central University for Nationalities, Wang Wen, a researcher at the Institute of Acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Du Xiaohui, a senior engineer at the Institute of Comprehensive Technology and Economics of Mechanical Industry Instruments, Professor Zhang Yumin of Beijing Information Science and Technology University, and Liu Yuehua, a senior accountant at Zhongtian Hengxin (Beijing) International Accounting Firm Co., Ltd. The meeting was chaired by Liu Dongwei, chief engineer of Beijing SIO.
Dr. Xiao Hao, General Manager of SIO , first expressed warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the leaders and experts present on behalf of the project leader, hoping that the experts would provide valuable opinions and suggestions on the project implementation plan, and introduced SIO's solid research foundation in the field of core optoelectronic devices and sensors for optical fiber sensing, as well as the rich project management experience accumulated through participating in 8 national key R&D plan projects, and expressed that it would provide all-round support and guarantee for the implementation of the project to ensure the smooth progress of the project and achieve outstanding results. Teacher Zhang Wei from the Materials Department of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Teacher Zhang Lei from the High Technology Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology delivered speeches respectively, and put forward valuable suggestions on project management and results quality.
Project leader Li Fang, Researcher of the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, reported in detail on the basic situation of the project from the aspects of project research background and objectives, research content, technical route, implementation plan, organizational management, guarantee measures, annual goals and assessment nodes, and risks and responses. The leaders of each subject reported on the implementation plan of the subject and other related contents.
The expert group listened to the report, reviewed relevant materials, questioned and discussed, and believed that the project implementation plan was complete, the research objectives were clear, the technical route was feasible, the schedule was reasonable, the indicators were in line with the task book, the budget was basically reasonable, and the budget arrangement matched the research tasks. At the same time, further optimization suggestions were also put forward. Finally, the expert group unanimously agreed that the project implementation plan passed the review.
In the meeting arrangement that afternoon, the leading unit invited Mr. Xi Dan from Zhongtian Hengxin (Beijing) International Accounting Firm Co., Ltd. to conduct financial management training for the project team. The project team also fully discussed and implemented the expert opinions, laying a good foundation for the smooth development of the project research work.
The "Deep-sea High-precision Temperature-salinity Deep-integrated Fiber Vector Sonar Sensor and Array System Research" project is led by Beijing SIO Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd and jointly undertaken by ten units including the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and National University of Defense Technology. The project will carry out research on high-precision temperature-salinity deep-integrated fiber vector sonar sensor primitives, arrays and their deep-sea applications. The project results will promote the progress of core technical indicators of sensors and equipment, lead the development direction of ocean observation and detection, change the situation where high-end ocean instruments and equipment are monopolized by the West, and achieve "running side by side" or even "leading" with the international advanced level in this research field, providing strong technical and equipment support for my country's marine scientific research, marine environment observation and deep-sea target detection, and have important scientific and social value for national marine security and rights protection.
