After nearly a year of intensive research and development, the first industrial high-current fiber optic sensor independently developed, designed and produced by Beijing SIO was successfully delivered to ABB in late October 2022. This is the first time that China's industrial high-current fiber optic sensor products have been exported to overseas markets, marking a new breakthrough in China's core technology of fiber optic current measurement entering the international market.
After receiving the order from ABB, the company set up a special project team, with the whole company's strength, high standards and strict requirements, benchmarking international standards, not afraid of difficulties, and arduous research. After more than a hundred days and nights and countless overtime, it finally passed the various performance tests and test verifications of the sensor products within the agreed period, and successfully completed the product delivery, allowing SIO to leap onto the international stage in one fell swoop.
